Job description:
Gables Motorsports of Wesley Chapel is currently seeking a motivated Service & Parts Sales Pro! This position assists customers in maintaining their toys and helps to make them even cooler. The "PAL" is responsible for selling and scheduling estimates of general maintenance and custom vehicle add-ons. Communicating with customers their job status, with a focus on customer service and repeat business. The advisor must have some background knowledge on a diverse set of products including boats, motorcycles, dirt bikes, atv’s, side x sides, utv’s, scooters, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all walk in customers with a great attitude
- Reach out to new and existing customer base routinely and repeatedly
- Utilize Call, Text, and Email at a high level
- Review and inspect service vehicles upon receipt
- Sell repairs and add-ons to customers
- Communicate technician recommendations to the customer
- Schedule repairs on vehicles
- Ensure timely work completion by service technician
- Ensure the highest quality of work
- Coordinate parts orders as need for service completion
- Assist with incoming vehicle deliveries
- Move wheels, tires, generators, and other customer items
- Push non starting vehicles in/out of service shop
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Must be able to push bikes weighing in excess of $1,000lbs
- Complete the service checklist for every unit
- Log all items used for service accounting and billing
- Communicate & update parts & sales departments with progress
- Keep your work area clean, neat, & organized
- Comply with OSHA &store safety policies
- Keep up with certifications and continuing education
- Work with factory representation for warranty authorization
- Help and assist other team members
- Keep a positive attitude and work hard
