Job Summary
United Imaging Healthcare North America is conducting an ultrasound research study focused on collecting abdominal, thyroid, and cardiac imaging data to enhance the image quality of our ultrasound systems.
We are seeking participants to serve as ultrasound models. Individuals are eligible provided they are an adult and have healthy, unbroken skin at the scan sites (chest, neck and abdomen).
The study consists of one or two sessions, each approximately 1 hour in duration, beginning July 27th, 2026 - August 31st.
What to expect
- Ultrasound is safe, non-invasive, and free of radiation
- The scan is IRB-approved, ensuring your rights, privacy, and safety
- A certified sonographer will scan your abdomen, neck, and chest
- Collected data is anonymized
Duties and Qualifications
- Be 18 or older
- Attend scheduled ultrasound scanning sessions (1–2 sessions, ~1 hours each)
- Lie in positions as directed by staff, including on your back and on your side
- Follow simple instructions for short breath-holding during scans
- Healthy, unbroken skin at scan site
- Be able to travel to our Bellevue WA research site
- Be able to fast for 6 hours prior to an abdominal ultrasound scanning session
- Able to provide signed informed consent
Compensation & Benefits
- $50 per hour, paid upon session completion
- Contribute to improvement of diagnostic ultrasound image quality
- Flexible scheduling (Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm)
