- Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and operational needs.

- Lead employee relations activities, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
- Build strong employee relationships through regular interaction with employees across all shifts to promote engagement and a positive work environment.
- Coordinate and deliver employee training programs, including leadership development, compliance, harassment prevention, and workplace conduct.
- Administer leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other federal and state leave requirements.
- Manage employee benefits administration and serve as the primary liaison between employees and benefit providers.
- Partner with supervisors to administer performance management processes, including coaching, performance reviews, corrective action, and employee development planning.
- Ensure compliance with employment eligibility verification (I-9), immigration requirements, unemployment claims, employment verifications, and government audits.
- Participate in plant audits and inspections, providing HR support as needed.
- Maintain HRIS and payroll systems (ADP/UKG), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee records, payroll, benefits, and reporting.
- Prepare HR and payroll reports to support Finance, including budgeting, year-end reporting, retroactive pay calculations, and operational HR metrics.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and recommend strategies to improve retention, attendance, productivity, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws through policy administration, training, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Partner with plant leadership to support workplace safety initiatives and actively participate on the facility Safety Committee.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within a 24/7 operation.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP or UKG.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, wage and hour regulations, and employee relations best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
