Summary Description
Box Office Agents provide customer service and support during regular box office hours as well as evening and weekend events. This part-time role focuses on assisting patrons with ticket sales, exchanges, and inquiries while supporting the smooth daily operations of the box office. Agents maintain accurate records, help create a welcoming environment, and contribute to an efficient, professional, and guest-friendly experience for all patrons.
Schedule
This position will work in the Appell Center Box Office during regular business hours, Monday - Friday 9:30PM - 4:30PM, schedule to be determined. In addition, Box Office Agents are required to work evenings and weekends for events as needed, working up to 15-20 hours per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet patrons and answer incoming calls
- Provide information about performances, events, and venue policies
- Assist patrons with tickets sales, exchanges and subscriptions
Ticketing and Administrative Support
- Process tickets and maintain constituent records in a CRM database
- Handle cash, check and card transactions accurately
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, copying and other administrative duties
Event Support
- Support box office operations during evening and weekend events
- Assist patrons with will call and/or reprint tickets
- Coordinate with Front of House staff on seating or ticket related questions

Education and Experience
High school diploma plus at least 1 year of experience in customer service, box office, or office operations is required. Equivalent combinations of relevant skills and experience will also be considered.
