Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our innovative team. Duties
- Prepare and conduct laboratory tests related to ophthalmology, physiology, and anatomy to support product development and quality assurance.
- Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment, including CNC lathes, optical testing devices, and other precision instruments.
- Manage laboratory inventory, ensure proper storage of materials, and maintain detailed records of all experiments and procedures.
- Follow ISO 13485 standards to ensure compliance with international quality management systems for medical devices.
- Implement laboratory techniques and procedures accurately while troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product testing, data analysis, and process improvements.
- Support laboratory management by maintaining cleanliness, safety protocols, and ensuring equipment calibration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a laboratory setting with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology, physiology, and anatomy is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and quality assurance processes within medical device manufacturing.
- Experience operating CNC lathe machines or similar precision manufacturing equipment is a plus.
- Background in optical testing or optical experience enhances your fit for this role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage laboratory inventory effectively.
