Staffing, training, scheduling, coaching, motivating, and developing associates to high performance in handling calls and emails from employer clients relating to product information, policy information and procedures, and billing;

Providing support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning billing processes or invoices;
-
Conducting audits on post issue phone calls and quality control on all administrative processes;
-
Establishing and monitoring team and individual associate scorecard goals and performance;
-
Completing and conducting quarterly performance reviews;
-
Assigning and monitoring workload and workflow to meet service standards; and
-
Determining staffing models to staff according to customer service standards;
-
Reviewing work of billing staff to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed;
-
Ensuring coordination with the business transformation department and worksite new business unit to ensure successful billing of new groups;
-
Tracking and monitoring worksite billing unit activity related to employer/client billing requests, customer complaints, and conservation efforts; and
-
Identifying, developing, and implementing process improvement changes for the worksite billing units.

Providing guidance to employer clients, producers, and other associates regarding regulations and procedures for the worksite billing units;
-
Ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations, including privacy regulations related to customer information;
-
Investigating and resolving issues and complaints, along with DOI complaints and security incidents as needed;
-
Assuring worksite billing units’ associates are knowledgeable about products, procedures, and employer client business and billing;
-
Tracking and monitoring employer clients’ request follow-ups and outcomes; and
-
Assisting with employer and/or policyholder mailings and communications.

Serving as a member of various committees and implementation teams;
-
Project management for newly implemented processes and procedures; and
-
Process improvement planning and implementations.

Two to four years of experience in insurance or related field.

Three years of experience working in a supervisory capacity.

Accounting experience required.

Strong team management skills and ability to define priorities.

Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Professional oral and written communication skills.

Decision-making ability.

Advanced experience with MS Office, particularly MS Excel

Ability to solve problems, analyze situations and make decisions.

Ability to work independently.

Knowledge of group insurance is beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.

May require work more than 40 hours a week to complete functions of position.

Following daily work schedules for appropriate coverage.

Hybrid position based in Lincoln, NE. Requires three days per week onsite and provides a hybrid schedule with two remote workdays.
