Position Details:

Preserve and maintain the physical integrity of the apartment community and facilities
-
Full-time position in Wichita, Kansas
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant units including but not limited to:
-
Complete Make-Ready apartment maintenance in a timely manner
-
Complete work orders for current residents while providing exceptional customer service
-
General building maintenance including appliance repair, carpentry, painting and landscaping
-
Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machines, and equipment
-
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
-
Assist with troubleshooting and performing routine electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
-
Assist with maintaining grounds, including pools and snow removal
-
Other related tasks as needed at surrounding properties owned/managed by Peterson Properties
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience, compensation based on your experience

Supervisory experience required - there is potential for a supervisor role

EPA is preferred

Must have your own basic tools and able to use a smartphone or IPAD

Physical demands include constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis.

Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work

Successfully complete background and drug screening

Ability to work an “On Call” rotation – Additional BONUS Pay applies

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required
