OPTO is seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Service Captain to join our front-of-house team.
This position is ideal for an experienced fine dining server or aspiring sommelier who is passionate about wine, thrives in a guest-focused environment, and is looking to take on a leadership role within the dining room.
As a Service Captain, you will lead service on the floor while supporting the overall flow of the restaurant. In addition to delivering exceptional table-side hospitality, you'll be expected to confidently recommend and sell wine, assist with beverage service, and support the host stand during service to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival through departure.
This is a TIPPED / HOURLY position.
What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of fine dining serving experience

Strong foundation in wine knowledge with a passion for continued education

Confidence selling premium wines and pairing them with cuisine

Warm, polished, and professional demeanor

Ability to lead by example and support fellow team members

Experience with reservation platforms such as Resy is a plus

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
