Southern Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at the Newberry County Jail on a part-time every other weekend schedule.
This is an ideal role for nurses looking to supplement income, stay clinically active, or maintain a meaningful connection to patient care without committing to long shifts or full-time hours.
As part of our healthcare team, you will:
✨ Provide direct patient care in a secure correctional setting
✨ Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
✨ Assess patient concerns and respond appropriately
✨ Maintain accurate and timely documentation
✨ Communicate effectively with healthcare and correctional staff
✨ Support a safe, professional, and structured care environment
✔ Only 4 hours per shift
✔ Every other weekend schedule for maximum flexibility
✔ Keeps your weekdays and most weekends free

Required
✔ Active South Carolina LPN or RN license
✔ LPN candidates must have at least 1 year of LPN experience
✔ Current CPR certification preferred
✔ Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
✔ Ability to work independently in a structured environment
