Lead a maintenance team where your leadership and technical skills make a difference every day! We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily maintenance operations of a multifamily apartment community in Schenectady, NY. What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and support the maintenance team while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance, service requests, apartment turns, and emergency repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Prioritize daily work orders, maintain inventory, and coordinate outside vendors when needed.
- Ensure the property meets company standards, safety regulations, and curb appeal expectations.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Maintenance experience in multifamily housing or a similar environment.
- Proven experience supervising, coaching, and developing maintenance team members.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organization, and customer service skills.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
