Seeking an experienced medical biller for a high volume psychiatric clinic in the Beaver County area. Qualifications for employment include:
- Experience with accounts receivable
- Knowledge of various insurance company's billing requirements and websites including Medicare and Medicaid
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with patient billing
- Experience with electronic medical record software
- Computer skills such as Excel, Google Docs, and Word
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in medical billing
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Posting charges and payments
- Processing denials and insurance appeals
- A/R follow up
- Handle incoming patient calls
- Patient collection calls
- Communication with therapists regarding billing related issues
- Verify insurances and check benefits
- Process authorizations
- Run batches/scans
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
