Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute roofing and siding plans
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and framing components safely and efficiently
- Apply construction safety harnesses and follow all workplace safety regulations during work at heights or on scaffolding
- Assist with siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry tasks as needed for comprehensive building restoration projects
- Read and interpret construction plans and schematics to ensure precise execution of roofing layouts and structural details
- Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing integration, and other related tasks to support seamless project completion
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing, siding installation, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry
- Strong knowledge of construction safety harnesses and adherence to workplace safety regulations
- Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) efficiently and safely
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
- Experience with heavy lifting techniques and proper use of lifting equipment for large materials
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines
- Knowledge of restoration techniques including tile laying, stucco application, welding, concrete forming, fabrication, plumbing integration, drywall finishing, and handyman skills
