Director of Nursing - Skilled Nursing Facility

$160,000 - $180,000 + Bonus depending on experience
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with leadership skills to work as a Director of Nursing (DON) for a leading provider of Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Long-Term care. The role will be responsible for the overall management of clinical care for residents within a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility (The facility is around 100 beds) in Montgomery County, PA. The company which operate the facility have over 40 facilities in their portfolio, spanning 3 states and offer rare stability in the LTC market via their ownership of the buildings, ancillary services and leading on the operations of their own facilities.
Relevant experience and responsibilities
· Extensive knowledge of local, state and federal regulations governing the delivery of healthcare services.
· Registered Nurse in the state of PA.
· Understanding of age-specific developmental factors in adults and geriatrics
· Experience caring for residents with the following healthcare needs: Therapeutic, Neuro and Dementia, Dialysis, IV therapy, Infectious disease and wound care.
· Ability to work under the direction of a Licensed Administrator to deliver care to residents in line with company policy.
· Working with the Administrator to hire, train and develop nursing and care staff.
· Development of nurses to enhance their clinical knowledge and ability to deliver top class care to residents.
· Understanding of current Health Department Directives and ability to relay these to staff.
