As a Housekeeper, the primary purpose of your position is to maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, and attractive manner in accordance with established procedures and as directed by the supervisor assuring that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times. In addition, this position performs the job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional manner ensuring that resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience as a Housekeeper in an Assisted Living Facility a plus
- Must be reliable with good work ethic
- Ability to interact with the residents with respect and dignity
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning public areas including bathrooms, foyers and living rooms, corridors; resident rooms/bathrooms; floors, furniture , walls, windows/sills, woodwork, doors, etc.
- Stock cleaning cart with supplies; keep utility room in clean and orderly condition, empty trash and transports same to waste disposal area. Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues to the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned
