: The Program Development & Grants Coordinator will support and advance United Way of Adams County’s vision of improving lives by providing support to the Executive Director in the coordination and implementation of programing and fundraising objectives and goals. They will be responsible for the growth of organization programming and the growth of grant funding.

● Program Support + Development Work with United Way staff to both support and lead community initiatives and programs. Assist in evaluating program/event results, and make improvements as needed. Represent UWAC at public functions.
● Grant Writing + Donor Administration Maintain and grow grant funding as a revenue stream for the organization; assist with donor administration
● Marketing + Fundraising Support digital communication, messaging, and the annual campaign under the leadership of the Executive Director including but not limited to updating UWAC’s web presence (website/social media), acknowledging donor gifts, and other tasks as assigned.
● Volunteer Management Cultivate and maintain relationships with community volunteers. Communicate opportunities and engage new volunteers.
As a small staff, all UWAC Staff members must step up to support other tasks as needed.
: The ideal candidate will have two years of experience working in the fields of
● Volunteer Management
● Program Development/Event Planning
● Grant Writing
● Fundraising
Nonprofit experience preferred
Bachelors Degree preferred

: Work is performed primarily indoors in an office environment with regular local travel in the Adams County area. The employee may occasionally travel using a personal vehicle and/or work outside a normal office environment and must possess a valid driver’s license.
The employee frequently is required to sit at a screen for long periods. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
