Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
- Prescribe medications, and manage acute medical conditions with evidence-based protocols following HIPAA regulations and DEA guidelines.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and interpret ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing.
- Assist in minor surgical procedures such as catheterization within hospital or outpatient settings.
- Manage critical care situations including resuscitation and stabilization at hospitals.
- Participate in clinical research trials, data collection efforts, and quality improvement initiatives to advance healthcare practices.
- Provide patient education on health coaching, medication adherence, family planning, and post-discharge discharge planning to promote long-term wellness.
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Demonstrated experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU care, or urgent care environments with Level I/II trauma center exposure preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT coding for procedures, ICD coding for diagnoses (ICD-10/ICD-9), and healthcare diagnosis protocols.
- Critical care experience including ventilator management, airway procedures, infection control practices, and acute care experience.
- Skills in suturing, aseptic technique, IV infusion administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support certification required.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality under HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
