Job Title: Aircraft Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on performing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of corporate aircraft in a fast-paced maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. You will carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA-approved technical data and certified repair station guidelines, ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality standards. The position requires strong attention to detail when completing maintenance documentation and release-to-service paperwork, as well as the ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine appropriate repair methods. You will also support general shop organization and basic office duties to keep the maintenance operation running smoothly.
Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of corporate aircraft, including Global Express, Gulfstream, Challenger, Citation, Phenom 300, King Air, and other jet and corporate aircraft types.

Conduct aircraft maintenance in strict accordance with FAA-approved technical data and certified repair station guidelines.

Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications to determine the feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components to meet established deadlines and performance goals.

Accurately complete all required maintenance documentation, work orders, and return-to-service (RTS) paperwork in accordance with repair station guidelines.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail when preparing and submitting paperwork required to release aircraft back into service.

Perform maintenance shop cleanup and organization, and support basic office duties to maintain a safe and efficient work area.

Communicate in a timely manner with supervisors, leads, site representatives, and maintenance control (MCC) regarding any changes in aircraft status.

Provide confident phone and communications coverage when the supervisor is not present, ensuring continuous information flow.

Troubleshoot aircraft systems using a multimeter and calibrated testing equipment to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Navigate and work effectively within Service Hub and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) environments, responding to time-sensitive repair needs.

Demonstrate a positive attitude toward productivity, safety, and quality maintenance, and maintain strong working relationships with supervisors and team members.

Proven ability to multi-task and follow directions in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment.

Hands-on experience performing maintenance on corporate aircraft such as Global Express, Gulfstream, Challenger, Citation, Phenom 300, King Air, and similar platforms.

Strong capability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical specifications, and repair instructions.

Meticulous approach to completing and submitting maintenance, work order, and RTS paperwork with high accuracy.

Experience servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components while meeting deadlines and performance goals.

Troubleshooting experience using a multimeter and calibrated testing equipment on aircraft systems.

Ability to work effectively in Service Hub or AOG environments and handle time-sensitive aircraft repairs.

Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, leads, site representatives, and MCC.

Positive attitude toward safety, productivity, and high-quality maintenance work.

Ability to cover phone and communications responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor.

General computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and Apple products.

Capability to perform shop cleanup, organization, and basic office tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Experience on any of the following aircraft models is preferred: Challenger 350, Challenger 650, Global 5000/6000, Phenom 300, Cessna Citation, Gulfstream 450/550.

Background working with a range of corporate and business aircraft, including Cessna, Bombardier, Falcon, Hawker, King Air, and CRJ platforms.

Familiarity with phase maintenance and other scheduled inspection programs on corporate aircraft.

Experience working in large MRO facilities and within team-based maintenance environments.

Comfort operating in both day and overnight shifts, including weekend schedules.

Ownership of a complete set of personal tools suitable for aircraft maintenance work.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large MRO facility where you work within sizable, collaborative maintenance teams focused on corporate and business aircraft. The environment is fast-paced and highly technical, involving regular use of aircraft maintenance manuals, multimeters, calibrated testing equipment, and standard aircraft tooling. Technicians are expected to bring and use their own tools. Multiple shift options are available, including weekday shifts (Monday–Thursday 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Monday–Thursday 3:30 p.m.–1:30 a.m.) and weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and Friday–Sunday 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., each structured as three 12-hour shifts). Weekend overnight opportunities are currently in high demand. Work is performed in hangar and shop areas typical of aircraft maintenance operations, with a focus on safety, organization, and adherence to repair station standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $50.00/hr.
