Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Manager to support our cleaning and facilities management operations. This role involves supervising cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining high-quality service delivery across assigned sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, team management skills, and a thorough understanding of industrial and commercial cleaning practices to uphold our commitment to excellence. THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION (10:00PM-6:30AM).
Duties
- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring all tasks meet company standards for quality and safety.
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor compliance with sanitation protocols, safety regulations, and health standards across all site activities.
- Manage staff schedules, assign duties efficiently, and ensure adequate staffing levels for operational needs.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and overall site appearance.
- Support onboarding and training initiatives for new team members in custodial techniques and safety procedures.
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting effective communication and teamwork among staff.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising industrial or commercial cleaning teams, with a focus on custodial services or janitorial work.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, safety regulations, and management of cleaning & sanitation operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly.
- Experience with hospitality or housekeeping management is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while fostering a positive work environment.
- Good customer service skills with an emphasis on professional communication and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
