We are seeking a qualified individual to become an integral part of our team! The position needing to be filled is mostly involved with the retail side of the business. The main tasks focus on providing customer service, selling products and merchandise to best serve our local livestock and equine community and maintaining the storefront to provide a positive customer experience. We are looking for someone with a good equine background, has excellent attention to detail, and who is comfortable working with our customers to assist them in making sound product selections. This position is also responsible for client/customer outreach through digital marketing and social media platforms. The veterinary reception side of the position will be responsible for triaging incoming calls and scheduling appointments accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Process incoming freight and restock products and medical supplies
- Maintain website and social media platforms to engage customers and clients
- Maintain a clean and presentable storefront
- Enter and process customer orders
- Schedule veterinary appointments and emergencies
- Support veterinary professional staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
