Job Summary

Duties
Create and prepare weekly and daily food specials.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency, presentation, and flavor quality in line with established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and excellent food service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining or upscale restaurant environments
- Strong knife skills with the ability to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly from scratch
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards
- Experience working within dietary departments or with dietary aide teams preferred
- Ability to plan menus that balance creativity with nutritional considerations
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
