Wedding Dress Consultant
Are you a self-motivated individual with a passion for fashion? We currently have an opening for a full-time Retail Wedding Consultant, working 36 hrs / week.
Wedding consultants work across the full spectrum of wedding services we provide, where you will be working one-on-one with brides to help them find the perfect wedding dress and accessories for their big day, helping bridesmaids coordinate their dresses with the bride and even helping the groom & groomsmen find their tuxes to complete the wedding experience.
Responsibilities include taking clients measurements, showcasing and recommending wedding gowns and providing personalized advice and suggestions about their wedding day look. To be successful in this role you should combine your fashion knowledge with a customer service attitude to help our clients prepare themselves for their special day. Ultimately, you will boost our store's reputation as one of the best shops for the soon-to-be-bride.
- Customer focus – Must be personable and friendly and have high emotional intelligence and empathy. Outgoing and vivacious personality a plus.
- Ability to juggle multiple opinions, groups, and enthusiastic guests with a smile.
- Professionalism – Strong work ethic, presence, and basic knowledge about bridal fashion.
- Neat and well-groomed appearance important, as you are the first point of contact when a Bride enters the store.
- Data entry skills – Input brides special orders into the database correctly, and efficiently.
- Comfortability working one-on-one with brides, helping them into gowns, and creating a personal and comfortable experience for them.
Employment hours are Monday through Sunday, we are closed Tuesday. Our operating hours are as follows:
Monday, 12Noon - 8pm, Wednesday, 12Noon - 8pm, Thursday, 12Noon - 8pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10am-3pm.
We are closed most major holidays, and Sunday's are a must (if working on a Sunday, you will have another weekday off in addition to Tuesday).
Pay is hourly, plus commissions + tips.
