Position Summary
Oaks Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Electrician to join our growing remodeling team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential electrical systems in renovation and remodeling environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, carpenters, plumbers, and homeowners to deliver high-quality renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and upgrade residential electrical systems in remodeling and renovation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction plans.
- Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, electrical panels, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Perform service upgrades, panel replacements, and circuit installations as required.
- Coordinate electrical work with other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project progress and electrical recommendations.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Electrician License (Journeyman or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience.
- Remodeling and renovation experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical codes and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with smart home systems and low-voltage wiring.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient lighting and electrical upgrades.
- OSHA safety training or certification.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
