Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle payroll operations, including U.S. (multi-state).
- Manage and mentor a team of two payroll professionals.
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations; act as a subject matter expert on payroll tax issues.
- Handle year-end tax reconciliations, including W-2s (U.S.).
- Partner with Accounting and HR leadership on payroll reporting and analysis.
- Lead benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and claims management.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in Workday payroll and benefits systems.
Core Competencies:
- 8+ years of experience of Payroll Tax Experience
- Must have Multi State Tax Payroll Experience
- Extensive and thorough knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local wage and hour, garnishment, and tax regulations
- Must have managerial experience
- Must have Workday Experience
- Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel
