This position is responsible for performing technical, liaison and related duties necessary to provide a variety of customer and vendor users with the proper uses of hardware, software, and systems in their functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes and directs all phases of EDI by contacting vendors to set up trading partners, problem solve, and maintain a database of contacts.
- Provides support for customers needing to communicate via EDI. Receives, researches, and answers all customer inquiries regarding any and all computer related questions.
- Acts as a liaison between all departments concerning EDI issues and assists in the development of new EDI procedures. Assist in finding new EDI applications and improvements of current systems.
- Balances all EDI communication reports from all outside sources, VANS, direct to customer/vendor, etc.
- Updates the EDI procedures manual
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook

- Basic understanding and ability to read record layouts and associated data
- Ability to think logically and interpret problems
- Ability to use a computer including the monitor and mouse
- Ability to work with limited supervisor
- Work overtime as required
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher in Business Administration, MIS or related field
2 or more years' experience in a computer related field
