Position Summary
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects from start to finish while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, forward-thinking planner who can anticipate project needs, identify potential obstacles before they arise, and effectively coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, and customer requirements. This position serves as a critical link between field operations, customers, and company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and logistics to support project execution.
- Develop project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
- Participate in customer planning meetings and pre-job walkthroughs.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and customers regarding project status, scheduling, and site requirements.
- Work closely with operations and field personnel to ensure projects are properly staffed and equipped.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope, identify hazards, and determine resource requirements.
- Review customer work scopes, specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Anticipate project challenges and implement solutions before they impact operations.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and overall performance.
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, and project forecasting.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and customer requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, including work orders, daily reports, and customer records.
- Track project progress and provide updates to management.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional work.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management, operations, or supervisory experience.
- Experience in gas plants, compressor stations, industrial services, oilfield services, environmental services, or related industries preferred.
- Strong planning, scheduling, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and resources simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating field personnel, equipment, materials, and logistics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to anticipate project needs and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to travel to customer locations and job sites as needed.
- Ability to work after hours and adapt to changing customer schedules when necessary.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
