What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As an Irrigation Technician, you will be the face of Company Green in the field, handling everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostic repairs for residental and commercial customers.
- Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot residential and commercial irrigation systems, including valves, manifolds, pumps, controllers, sensors, and 2-wire systems.
- Consult & Educate: Identify system inefficiencies, present clear solutions, and educate customers on their repair options.
- Tech-Driven Workflow: Use company software to manage your daily schedule, update job details, process invoices, and communicate with clients.
- Off Season: Off season work may include logistics of materials, planning, training, or other specified tasks to prepare for any of Company Green’s areas of business.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: Proven experience in irrigation installation, service, or repair.
- Licensing: Active Indiana Backflow Tester Certification OR the ability and willingness to obtain it (we will support you through this process).
- Driver's License: Valid Indiana Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, with a knack for independent problem-solving. Computer skills sufficient for customer communication and job log reporting. Basic plumbing knowledge.
- Team Player: Ability to work efficiently on your own or collaborate with a team.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
