Service /Warehouse Technician - (Window & Door Construction Knowledge Needed)

This position is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills within the warehouse setting, inventory tracking, supply ordering, some data entry experience, along with some construction knowledge. Our inventory consist of windows, doors and all components needed for installation completion. Must be able to comfortably lift product when required by hand or with equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - THE ROLE
- Load and unload shipments of products and/or materials; record receipts & enter information on the computer system
- Inventory as needed to track products in and out of facility (must understand detailed data entry like excel and Microsoft suite)
- Maintain service parts area; log all incoming and outgoing parts
- Stage materials for each customer’s order for installation pick-up or shipping
- Move materials on and off shelves (must be comfortable with heavy lifting for example, windows and doors)
- May help with moving material on installation job sites when necessary
- Keep warehouse areas clean and neat, may include sweeping, pick up debris, and maintain a safe work environment
- Order installation components using company protocol when supplies are low or needed.
WHAT YOU BRING - THE PERSON
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 year's of experience with tracking Inventory using online programs and having knowledge with Microsoft Suite and tools like excel for data entry
- 2 years’ experience in Warehouse setting with organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift windows and doors and additional installation components
- Self driven and motivated to complete all given tasks each day
- Pass drug screen and background report
- Current Driver’s License
