Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile and experienced Cross-Trained Team Member to join our banquet event team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing the duties of both a bartender and a server, ensuring efficient and exceptional service delivery during various banquet events. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in bartending and serving, excellent customer service abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to different roles as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Bartending Duties:
o Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to event specifications and guest preferences.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing workstations.
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
o Assist with inventory management, receiving and maintaining stock levels of beverages and bar supplies.
· Serving Duties:
o Greet guests, assist with seating arrangements, and take orders promptly and courteously.
o Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and according to established service standards.
o Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
o Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the event.
o Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and banquet team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
· General Responsibilities:
o Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
o Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
o Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
o Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning tables, chairs, and banquet equipment.
o Perform other duties as assigned by banquet supervisors or managers.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a bartender and server in a banquet, hotel, or high-volume restaurant setting.
· Strong knowledge of cocktails, mixology techniques, and beverage service standards.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
· Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift, and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., RAMP certification) is preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
