Responsible for the end-to-end process of excess & obsolete inventory management including direct contact with liquidators for close out sales opportunities. Work collaboratively with Planning, Sales, Marketing and Finance to identify, compile and publish aging, obsolete and excess inventory for liquidation and other actionable dispositions. Proactively drive category reduction, improved customer service and inventory accuracy. Develop and publish analytical data summaries outlining fiscal period results, impact and progress.
Responsibilities:

Through collaboration with Supply, Inventory, Operations and Finance, identify, compile & execute the timely reporting and management of obsolete, excess and discontinued inventory for liquidation sale or other disposition.

Work directly with liquidators, presenting close out items at best pricing to ensure highest financial return on aging, excess and obsolete inventory. Determine financial benefit of donation versus liquidation through collaboration with Finance on pricing matrix guidelines and periodic reassessments.

In partnership with Supply and Demand Planners, proactively identify future obsolete and excess inventory risk through inventory and forecast analysis and mitigating loss through opportunities and recommendations.

Analyze, track, and prepare materials regularly, for reporting to upper & Executive management (i.e. data summaries/dashboards, Power Point presentations).

Coordinate & manage projects (as it relates to direct and indirect areas of focus) with distribution centers and other cross functional teams, meeting deadlines or actionable dispositions, and maintain appropriate inventory accuracy.

Identify and implement O&D Reduction initiatives and continuous improvement ideas. Recommend strategies and corrective action plans for category reduction, mitigate loss and drive results.
Experience, Skills, Education:

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or similar field

1-2 years of supply planning or inventory planning experience required

Experience managing obsolete and excess inventory (Raw Material, Packaging, Finished Goods) preferred

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

ERP System experience required, preferably JDE

Professional and effective communication skills with ability to span all levels of management

Ability to understand and report detailed analytics, leveraging data from across the supply chain and multiple systems

High accuracy with strong organizational and detail oriented skills

Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with accuracy

Ability to leverage KPI’s to identify improvement opportunities
Compensation:
Base Pay Range:
$56,100.00 - $93,500.00
Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
