Job description
We are seeking a Machinist/Welder to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Salvaging worn parts: Rebuilding massive, worn-out components like shafts, bearing bores back to original manufacturing dimensions.
- Precision Machining: Operating large-scale manual lathes to cut, shape, and bore tough alloys within tolerances.
- Thermal Restoration: Applying spray welding used for rebuilding worn out parts,
- On-Site Line Boring: Using portable machining rigs directly on-site to repair bores and faces.
- Weld and fabricate parts
- Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
- Set up and use portable boring equipment
- Familiarity with machining tools and equipment
- Strong background in welding
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have basic hand tools and measuring equipment.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
