Handley Cellars is looking for a dynamic, versatile employee, preferably with office experience that has the ability and desire to multi-task and support the finance office to join our team. The right candidate would be available 3 day a week, Monday – Thursday with flexibility on which 3 days. We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to work independently and anticipate what work needs to be done.
This support position would be a minimum of 3 days per week and could be more for the right applicant.
Duties:
This position would be in the Finance/HR office. The duties there would include:
- Processing wholesale orders and assisting with wine movements
- A/P & A/R assistance
- Assisting in the payroll process
- Assisting with the credit card reconciliation
- Reconcile daily tasing room reports
- Scanning and emailing documents
- Miscellaneous data entry projects
- Driving to drop off and pick up mail
- Filing
- This person would also provide Human Resources support (Experience in Human Resources would be a plus)
- Inventory count and reconciliation
- Compliance assistance

- Highly accurate and organized with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with polished in-person, phone, and email skills
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with others but can work independently
- Strong computer proficiency and data entry including knowledge of Microsoft Suite and POS/accounting systems
- Knowledge of AMS or other point of sale system a plus
- Spanish conversation skills a plus
- Must have a valid CA driver’s license
- Ability to lift, carry, stack, and move up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
