American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cath Lab position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring active cath lab experience and AHA certifications.

Pediatric Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting

Pediatric patient population with health conditions ranging from simple to complex
-
Day shift schedule working four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off

On-call responsibilities are required

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate Compact (eNLC) RN license

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Minimum of one year of RN experience required

Cath lab experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting patient physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

Communicates care plans with patients and families, provides discharge education, and coordinates referrals to appropriate personnel

Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility may reapply after a 6-month separation period, as workers are permitted only one extension for a maximum of 26 weeks total

Compliance with onboarding requirements (background checks, drug screens, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon acceptance of an offer
