The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Weld, Detail Grind (Jitterbug), Detail Clean, Ultrasonic Clean, Hardware Installation, and Type 1 Cleaning departments. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring a strong floor presence while effectively managing administrative and production planning responsibilities.
Key responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of Detail Grind (Jitterbug), Detail Clean, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Hardware Installation, and Type 1 Cleaning.

Plan and coordinate labor resources to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.

Monitor work-in-process (WIP) and ensure timely movement of parts through all finishing and cleaning processes.

Ensure all operators follow approved T-SOPs, work instructions, and quality requirements.

Maintain and update the department training matrix and coordinate employee training activities.

Spend a significant portion of the day on the manufacturing floor supporting operators, monitoring production, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and process requirements.

Balance floor presence with administrative responsibilities including scheduling, ERP transactions, reporting, training records, and departmental communication.

Lead by example through active engagement with employees and frequent observation of daily manufacturing activities.

Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies.

Leadership responsibilities including but not limited to Timecard Management, Talent Acquisition, Performance, Policy enforcement, and Disciplinary actions.
Qualifications

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

ERP/MRP system experience preferred (Epicor experience is a plus).

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to work effectively in both an office and manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods.

Frequent interaction with employees, equipment, and production processes on the shop floor.

Ability to perform desk-based work including scheduling, reporting, training documentation, and ERP transactions.
