```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team with at least 1 year experience and graduated from a accredited dental school Or equivalent.The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
```Responsibilities```
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Perform basic administrative tasks as needed
```Qualifications```
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and dental anatomy
- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as digital radiography
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to patient privacy guidelines
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
