SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing inventory while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This role supports daily warehouse operations and contributes to overall accuracy, productivity, and safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily warehouse functions including counting, put‑away, picking, rotating, and replenishing inventory.

Store products in designated locations based on identifying information such as style, size, or material type.

Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Maintain appropriate stock levels in primary pick locations based on capacity and pick velocity.

Determine appropriate storage methods and locations considering product characteristics, turnover rates, weight limits, and space requirements.

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and accident‑prevention guidelines while on company property or operating equipment.

Move, transport, and stage materials and supplies as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and ensure equipment is kept in proper working condition.

Operate forklifts and other company vehicles in accordance with training and certification requirements.

Cross‑train in multiple warehouse functions and assist other departments as needed.

Provide on‑the‑job training (OJT) to new employees when assigned.

Complete required documentation, reports, and inventory records accurately.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
-
High school diploma or equivalent.

One to three years of warehouse experience.
-
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick and pull complex orders.
-
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work effectively with supervisors, co‑workers, and other departments.

Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery.
-
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred
- Prior forklift experience or certification.
