Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong ability to handle various breeds of dogs. This role involves providing high-quality care for animals in our facility, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being while also maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding and grooming.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the kennel manager.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kennel area, including cleaning cages, kennels, and common areas.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record on daily charts.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills related to animal handling and care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in kennel work or animal care is appreciated.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for animal care tasks.
