Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
- Ensure meals are prepared in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner
- Follow portion control and special dietary requirements when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assist with food storage, inventory, and kitchen supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or senior living experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A positive attitude and passion for serving seniors
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
