Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex issues on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Participate in equipment changeovers, contributing to efficient production line transitions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Rebuild spare parts and maintain inventory levels to support ongoing maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights (up to 20ft).
- Experience with plastic extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, or blow molding equipment.
- Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) programs.
- Certifications in relevant technical areas (e.g., electrical, hydraulic).
