As our Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our foundation, allowing us to continue our important mission. This position offers flexibility and can be structured as either a full-time or part-time role depending on the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records and managing all bookkeeping duties. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Managing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Processing and accurately recording donations, grants, and other income.

Conducting regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements for a non-profit organisation.

Maintaining a clear and organised system of financial records and documentation.

Liaising with external accountants for annual audits and tax preparations.

Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles. Key qualifications include:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.

Strong proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.

A solid understanding of bookkeeping best practices and accounting principles.
