Job Overview
We are seeking dynamic and caring Youth Sports Coaches and Referees to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our young athletes aged 4-12 while facilitating success during gamedays. As a Youth Sports Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents while they learn fundamentals and sportsmanship playing recreational youth sports.
Responsibilities
- Implement recreational Basketball programs for children and adolescents on gameday
- Supervise and mentor youth players in recreational basketball
- Teach and promote sports fundamentals and sportsmanship
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a fun and safe environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and volunteer coaches
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents of various ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances on gameday
-Playing or coaching experience in basketball and/or other sports
Skills
- General knowledge of recreational basketball
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
