Lawson Logistics and HL Lawson are seeking experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to join our growing team. As a driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely, safe, and compliant delivery of goods while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
Compensation is per route with average weekly take home pay $1,000.00 per week. Routes are within a 200 mile radius and drivers are home daily!
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and legally operate company trucks in compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and all applicable state and federal laws
- Perform daily pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure safe operation per FMCSA standards
- Accurately communicate maintenance and repair needs to Management
- Use EDL or paper logs to record daily activity and maintain accurate hours-of-service documentation
- Deliver loads safely, efficiently, and on schedule, ensuring all freight paperwork is completed and signed
- Plan trips effectively using maps, GPS, and provided resources for optimal routing
- Refuel trucks, secure equipment, and maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times
- Submit completed paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch and office staff for smooth operations
- Perform other duties as assigned based on qualifications
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years flatbed driving experience
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance
- Experience operating trucks safely and efficiently
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to complete required logs and documentation accurately
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism
