Description:
Job Overview: A material handler moves, stores, and organizes materials and helps ensure the efficient flow of products throughout the warehouse and production facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving and processing new shipments of materials and goods

Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution

Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
-
Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product
-
Maintaining accurate documentation for all materials shipped

Disposing of waste, transport dunnage, and surplus materials
-
Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric jacks to move items throughout the facility
-
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-inspections and making operator repairs

Keeps inventory, loading areas, and equipment clean
-
Other duties as assigned
Shift and Schedule:

Full-time
-
10-hour shift Monday through Friday
-
Saturdays as scheduled
$16.00/hour

Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to safely and effectively operate forklift, manual/electric pallet jack, and other material handling equipment
-
Ability to read and analyze information
-
Excellent attendance
-
Effectively communicate with team members, truck drivers, and supervisors
Education and Experience:
-
Previous stock or inventory experience helpful but not required
-
Previous experience operating forklift or pallet jack
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Must possess valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain forklift certification

Must be 18 years to apply
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and continuous movements

Ability to work at various heights
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
