We’re growing and seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative who enjoys building relationships, solving customer needs, and turning conversations into sales. Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will help customers find reliable water solutions for their applications. Working mainly by phone and on HubSpot, you will respond to inbound leads, follow up with prospects, support dealers, prepare quotes, and close sales. You will also coordinate with production and shipping to ensure each customer receives the right product and a smooth experience from first contact through delivery. Occasional travel is required for industry events.
Responsibilities
o Respond quickly and professionally to inbound inquiries and convert qualified prospects into customers.
o Follow up with leads, past customers, and existing accounts to keep sales opportunities moving forward.
o Ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer’s well, tank, or application and recommend the right pump, cylinder size, and accessories.
o Build lasting relationships with dealers and direct customers through responsive communication and dependable follow-through.
o Use HubSpot to manage your pipeline, quotes, orders, notes, and follow-up activity accurately.
o Coordinate with production and shipping to help ensure smooth, on-time fulfillment.
o Represent Bison Pumps professionally at occasional industry events.
o Support product demonstrations and handle pump components and shipments as needed.
Qualifications
Required
o Proven sales experience and the confidence to manage prospects from first contact through close.
o Experience using HubSpot or comparable CRM, or the ability to become proficient quickly.
o Excellent phone, written, and follow-up skills with a customer-first mindset.
o Strong organization, self-motivation, and comfort taking ownership of a sales pipeline.
o Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation, with the ability to drive a company truck pulling a trailer to the occasional trade show or similar event.
o Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for product demonstrations and handling.
Preferred
o Experience selling manufactured, durable, technical, or solution-based products.
o Familiarity with pumps, well water, plumbing, groundwater, homesteading, preparedness, or related industries.
o Comfort reading basic product specifications and measurements to help customers make informed decisions.
