Job Summary
Join our dynamic fabrication team as an Entry Level Fabrication Shop Laborer! This exciting role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing and metal fabrication. You will assist with various shop floor tasks, supporting the production of high-quality metal components and assemblies. Duties
- Assist with material handling using equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes to move steel, raw materials, and finished products safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools, grinders, torches and tape measures
- Learn to read shop drawings for fabrication and welding
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- No prior experience required; however, familiarity with basic math, blueprint reading, hand tools, and mechanical concepts is a plus
- Ability to operate or quickly learn the use of forklifts, overhead cranes and fabrication tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in manufacturing processes and fabrication technology
- Basic understanding of metal work or previous exposure to manufacturing environments is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
