We are currently hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and oversee a team responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily activities of a team of warehouse associates. This position oversees receiving, stocking, inventory control, order fulfillment, packing, shipping, deliveries, and light fabrication while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching employees, solving problems, and continuously improving warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates
- Assign daily workloads and prioritize tasks to meet customer commitments
- Supervise receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery operations
- Oversee light fabrication and value-added services to ensure quality and accuracy
- Ensure orders are completed accurately, on time, and safely
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control processes
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety practices
- Conduct team meetings and enforce company operations and safety policies
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve customer and inventory issues
- Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Assist with scheduling, performance coaching, and employee development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
Qualifications
- 8+ years of warehouse experience
- 3+ years of operations management and/or 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, shipping, and warehouse operations
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with warehouse management or ERP systems preferred
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial distribution, PVF, construction supply, or building materials industry experience
- Experience managing warehouse KPIs and productivity metrics
- Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement experience
- CDL or experience coordinating local deliveries is a plus
- Fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred
