As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver in Oakland, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utility location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.

Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and report suspicious behavior, trespassing, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.

Support routine operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing required reports, logs, and incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
