Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist include providing support to our Partners and staff, assisting in daily office needs such as maintaining files, scanning incoming documents, processing and assembling tax returns, processing daily mail, answering phones. If you have prior experience within an accounting office, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant/Receptions should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Distribute mail and deliveries
- Maintain a filing system
- Greet clients & visitors
- Process and scan incoming documents timely
- Process and assemble tax returns
- Stock kitchen and file room supplies
- Running errands (picking up office lunches, post office, etc.)
- Process bank deposits
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant/receptionist
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, scanners, copiers and postage machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work under pressure
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; experience as an Administrative assistant/receptionist a must, CPA firm experience a plus, pay scale based on experience
