Auto Detailing Specialist (Experienced)Overview
Alpine Auto Lab is seeking an experienced, motivated Auto Detailing Specialist to join our growing shop. This role is ideal for someone who already understands professional detailing standards, works efficiently, and takes pride in clean, high-quality results.
We are a fast-paced, high-volume shop, and this position requires the ability to complete 2–3 full details per day while maintaining excellent workmanship and a clean, organized work environment. Pay is commission-based, rewarding productivity, skill, and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Perform full interior and exterior details to Alpine Auto Lab standards
- Complete services efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail
- Interior services including:
- Vacuuming, shampooing, and steam cleaning carpets & upholstery
- Cleaning and conditioning leather, plastics, and interior trim
- Interior sanitization and odor elimination
- Exterior services including:
- Hand washing, decontamination, and drying
- Wheel, tire, and wheel-well cleaning
- Applying sealants, waxes, and ceramic sealants when required
- Perform basic machine polishing when applicable (experience preferred)
- Inspect vehicles before and after service to ensure quality control
- Occasionally interact with customers in a professional manner (answering basic questions, explaining completed services, or assisting during drop-off/pickup when needed)
- Keep all tools, chemicals, carts, and work areas clean and organized at all times
- Maintain overall shop cleanliness, including shared spaces—not just your work bay
- Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Represent Alpine Auto Lab professionally at all times
Requirements
- Prior professional auto detailing experience REQUIRED
- Ability to complete 2–3 full details per day consistently
- Strong time-management and efficiency skills
- High standards for cleanliness, organization, and workmanship
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Willingness to keep the entire shop clean, not just assigned areas
- Comfortable with occasional customer interaction and professional communication
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Experience with:
- Interior deep cleaning
- Exterior detailing
- Sealants and waxes
- Light machine polishing (preferred, not required)
Pay & Schedule
- Commission-based pay (paid per vehicle/service completed)
- Higher productivity = higher earnings

Pay: $140.00 - $180.00 per day
