Clinical Manager – LPC

About the Role
True North Recovery Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a full-time Clinical Manager.
This is a hands-on clinical leadership position for someone who wants to help oversee and develop our clinical programming while remaining involved in direct client care. The Clinical Manager will work closely with organizational leadership and our clinical team to maintain high standards for treatment, documentation, compliance, and client outcomes.
We are especially interested in candidates who are already credentialed with Colorado Medicaid payers, particularly Colorado Access.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Colorado LPC license
- Experience treating substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions
- Strong clinical documentation and treatment-planning skills
- Experience providing clinical leadership, supervision, or mentorship
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Strongly Preferred:
- Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)
- Currently credentialed with Colorado Access and/or other Colorado Medicaid payers
- Experience with Medicaid behavioral health services, authorizations, audits, or utilization management
- Experience in IOP, PHP, or other structured outpatient treatment
- Experience supervising or developing other clinicians
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and support to therapists and other clinical staff
- Review clinical documentation, treatment plans, and medical necessity
- Support clinical quality, compliance, and documentation standards
- Participate in case reviews and clinical decision-making
- Assist with staff development, onboarding, and performance
- Support payer authorizations, audits, and utilization management
- Maintain a limited individual caseload
- Facilitate evening IOP programming Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and organizational leadership

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
