This is a temporary position 4-6 weeks then part time a few days week . The Medical Assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist in the delivery of health care and patient care management for the primary care practice. This will include actively participating in and supporting the primary care teams with these efforts. The Medical Assistant will work with and receive supervision from the RN Clinical Supervisor, physicians and Nurses. The Medical Assistant will participate in all aspects of hands-on patient care along with required clerical work.
The CNA responsibility's will be rooming patients following established protocols. Perform EKG's and assist physicians with a variety of tasks. Work closely with Medical Assistant's in a team based atmosphere.
This position is 34 hours week 4 days week 7:30 -5 pm . Must be certified or eligible for certification. Prefer experience working within an Electronic Medical Record. We use the Meditech Expanse system. Phlebotomy skills are preferred but willing to train. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to multi-task and flexibility is a must. Superior customer service skills are essential. We are seeking a highly motivated employee who wants to work in small office where you are valued. Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
